Introduction to Using Revit for Residential Framers
This course will introduce you to the basics of using Revit to prepare you for framing with ARKANCE (formerly Agacad).
This course is designed to teach you the basics of drawing projects in Revit. Advanced concepts and techniques of Revit and ARKANCE will be taught during additional live sessions that will be scheduled with your software implementer.
LotSpec for Revit® for Framers 101 – Revit 22.0 through Revit 24.2
This course will focus on LotSpec, a design options management add-in for Revit, with a focus on the Revit content used to create models consisting only of framing components (walls, openings, dimensions). LotSpec automates the creation of construction documentation for residential home builders and framers. The course will cover the user interface, tools used to create a rules-based workflow for assigning logic to project elements, and automating the process of creating lot specific plan sets based on customer option selections.
*All projects in this course have been created using Revit and LotSpec 2022 to allow for greater flexibility in users. If you are using a newer version of Revit and LotSpec, you will need to upgrade the projects when prompted. The projects in this course are not compatible with Revit 24.3 or Revit 25.
