Use this article to rename sheets or remove sheets you do not need in the Pipeline LBM Takeoff workspace. Keeping sheet names accurate and removing unnecessary sheets helps keep your takeoff organized and easier to manage.

Notes:

• Renaming a sheet does not affect measurements or quantities.
• Deleting a sheet permanently removes it from the job.
• Any takeoff data on a deleted sheet is also removed.

Rename a sheet

Use this procedure to update a sheet name to match your plan set.

1. Open the job in the Takeoff workspace.
2. In the Sheets panel, locate the sheet you want to rename.
3. Select the ellipsis (… ) next to the sheet name.
4. Choose Rename.
5. Enter the new sheet name.
6. Press Enter to save the new name.

Tip: After renaming a sheet, press the Tab key to move directly to renaming the next sheet in the list.

Delete a single sheet

Use this option to remove one sheet at a time.

1. In the Sheets panel, locate the sheet you want to remove.
2. Select the ellipsis (… ) next to the sheet name.
3. Choose Delete.
4. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

Delete multiple sheets at once

Use this option to quickly remove several sheets from the job. They will also no longer appear in the Sheets panel.

1. In the Sheets panel, select the checkbox next to each sheet you want to delete.
2. Select the Delete (trash can) button at the bottom of the Sheets panel.
3. Confirm the deletion.
