Apply Spec Sets Automatically

Spec Sets can be automatically applied in Pipeline LBM to help streamline the estimation process. You can assign Spec Sets to locations, customers, or sections, and you can also set default Spec Sets to apply automatically across jobs.

Apply to a Location

  1. Open the Location Detail page for one of your stored locations.
  2. On the location’s Spec Set page, click the plus icon in the top right.
  3. The Add Spec Set dialog will open.
  4. Select a Spec Set Group and Spec Set, then click Save.

Any job assigned this location will automatically have the assigned Spec Set applied.

Apply for a Customer

  1. Open the Customer Detail page by selecting the customer from the Customer
  2. On the customer’s Spec Set page, click the + (plus) icon in the top right.
  3. The Add Spec Set dialog will open.
  4. Select a Spec Set Group and Spec Set, then click Save.

Any job assigned to this customer will automatically have the assigned Spec Sets applied.

Apply to a Section

  1. Open the Section Detail.
  2. In the blue navigation bar, go to the Section’s Spec Set page.
  3. Click the + (plus) icon in the top right.
  4. The Add Spec Set dialog will open.
  5. Select a Spec Set Group and Spec Set, then click Save.

The assigned Spec Sets are applied to all key measures placed into that section on the Job BOM.
