Pipeline LBM Export Settings for BisTrack

Review this article for instructions on how to enable and utilize BisTrack integration and data export functionality within the Pipeline LBM software.
  1. Enable BisTrack Export
    1. From the LBM Dashboard, click Settings (Gear icon) in the upper righthand corner of the screen.
    2. Click Integrations.
      BisTrack is the first of four listed integrations.
    3. Slide the Enable button to the right to enable BisTrack .
      Note: Enable allows BisTrack as an export choice in the Job BOM drop down. Otherwise, if not enabled on the Integrations page, this export option is not listed in the Job BOM drop down on the Jobs page. Generally, a user will only enable one back office system at a time.
    4. Click Save.
  2. Exporting Files to BisTrack
    1. Click Jobs on the left screen navigation menu.
    2. Select the desired job from the displayed list of jobs .
    3. Click Job BOM on the left menu, under the selected job name.
    4. Click the white ellipsis inside the dark blue square under the BOM header on Job BOM screen.
    5. Choose Export.
    6. Select BisTrack from Export Type dropdown menu.
    7. Select whether this is a Customer Quote or Order.
      Note: A quote is often thought of as an estimate. An order is related to a executed job.
    8. Address Code: will be auto populated with job number, but this field is editable.
    9. Customer Code: is editable. This field is for customer information specific to BisTrack.
    10. Customer Field: will be user populated with customer job number in Pipeline.
    11. Click Export.
      An XML file is created.
    12. User will need to save or place the XML file into an E-Business browser. This is BisTrack owned URL file management location
  3. Excel Usage Report & CSV
    Within the Job BOM page, once a user clicks on the white ellipsis inside the dark blue box, there is an option for an Excel Usage Report or CSV. The usage report is a communication tool between LBM and the general contractor or the builder. The CSV is a native export that exports the Bill of Materials in a CSV format.
