Products within Pipeline LBM can be imported in bulk using a CSV
file. Follow the walkthrough provided below to import CSV files to Pipeline LBM.
- From the Pipeline LBM dashboard, open the Estimating menu and click on Products.
- Locate the ellipsis icon in the top right of the Products screen. Click the ellipsis icon, then click Import button.
- On the Import page, click Select CSV.
A pop up window will prompt the user to locate and select the desired CSV file.Note: A. With the file selected, a confirmation window will show the first three lines of the CSV file. B. There will also be a notification that importing products in this manner will not delete already existing products in the users product library. C. The import will add new products and update existing products, if a product name is found in the Pipeline LBM already.
- After confirming that the correct files are being uploaded, select Import.
- Return to the Products page, within the Pipeline LBM dashboard, to verify that
the product files were successfully uploaded.
Note: An easy way to verify that the import was successful is to look at the Product count in the lower right hand corner of the Products page.
