Expanded Key Measure Verification and Comparison Features
The Compare Key Measures dialog has received several new features and enhancements to streamline validation, improve accuracy, and simplify user workflows:
- Automated Key Measure Evaluation: The Compare Key Measures process now includes automatic verification of unchanged measures, identification of new or missing key measures, and improved handling of items marked Recheck Required. New and missing measures are flagged accordingly, while previously flagged Recheck Required measures are further categorized based on whether changes are detected.
- KM Delta Checker Button: Enables direct validation of updated results against historical data. Now visible in the Compare Key Measures dialog.
Enhancements
- Enhanced Key Measure Data Grid: Usability has been significantly improved with the addition of column-level filtering and sorting, a new Actions column to toggle between master and solved models, and Status and Notes columns for tracking review progress. A new Save button allows users to save statuses and notes directly to the database.
- Simplified Search: The Compare Key Measures dialog now features a universal search box. It scans all data grid fields without needing to select a column.
- Streamlined Comparison Results Interface: The Comparison Results section has been redesigned for a cleaner, more efficient user experience. Export and Delete actions are now available via a right-click context menu with multi-select support, individual item checkboxes have been removed, the Initiate button has been repositioned, and the results list is now presented in a collapsible expander for improved navigation.
- Solve Workflow Updates:
- Added From Key Measure Review tab in the Solve Option Sets dialog (LotSpec for Revit only, with PCON installed). Automatically pre-selects option sets requiring resolution.
- New Preview Solve Model dialog lets users view the solved model for the selected option set
- Key measures can now pass their element IDs into the model preview, with visual highlighting of selected elements
- Updated Select and Reset interactions for model preview, including error handling for missing models
- Flexible File Export Naming: Users can now customize export file names using the Option Set Code, Option Set Name, or both, with preferences stored via extensible storage (available when LotSpec is installed). Pipeline Connect also adheres to General tab naming conventions and includes safeguards to prevent file path length issues during export.
Upgrade Note: Pairs with LotSpec for Revit 26.0
