Important: The LotSpec and Server versions must align with the Revit version being used. The Dispatch desktop application is universal.

Installation Steps

  1. Download and extract the installer from the .ZIP file to a temporary location.
  2. For existing users, please uninstall the previous version before installing the new version.
  3. Double click and run the .MSI file which will initiate the installation process. Do not attempt to run the installer from within the .ZIP file.
  4. If presented with a Microsoft Defender protection message, click on More info and select Run Anyway.
  5. Review and agree to the EULA, and then follow the remaining prompts to finish the installation process.

Activation Steps

  1. Open Autodesk AutoCAD and select the “Always Load” option when prompted.
  2. When the license activation dialog appears, copy and paste your license key into the Activation Key field and click Activate. An internet connection is required to activate the product.
  3. Upon successful activation, click the Close button to resume the Revit startup.
  4. After opening or creating a new AutoCAD project, the LotSpec tab will become available in the Revit ribbon interface.
  5. In some cases, the LotSpec tab may not appear immediately after installation. If this happens, type MENULOAD, unload the LotSpec customization group, and restart AutoCAD.
