LotSpec Remote Manager version 2.1

Released: 10/7/2025

Enhancements

LotSpec Remote Manager now offers a refreshed “lite” version featuring an improved UI and Revit compatibility. Designed for customers with limited automation capabilities or restrictive IT environments, this alternative installation mimics the classic LSRM experience while supporting modern workflows.

LotSpec for Revit version 2026.1.0

Released: 10/7/2025

Enhancements

LotSpec for Revit now intelligently detects and adapts to the project’s underlying unit setting (metric or imperial) and is no longer restricted to imperial. All numerical input dialogs and tooltips will automatically display values in the appropriate units providing a better experience for international users.

The Elevation Assistant tool (Previously Sect/Elev Marker) has been redesigned to allow users to quickly align vertical view plane cameras with reference planes. This update streamlines the process of adding annotations to elevation views and significantly improves workflow efficiency.

ACC projects in the ACC Hubs Browser are now displayed in alphabetical order, making it easier to locate items at a glance. A new search feature allows users to find projects by entering a key phrase, word, or character, streamlining navigation and improving overall usability.

The local Find/Replace can now be used for cloud-hosted CAD links when mapped to Autodesk Docs via Desktop Connector. This will make it easier to manage and relink CAD files stored in the cloud, streamlining workflows in connected project

Fixes

Fixed an issue where a Pipeline Connect excel export was not generated when solving a Lot Job for a cloudhosted model using Connect + Upload to Cloud. The excel file now generates correctly and the upload process completes without stalling, restoring full functionality for cloud-based workflows. (Prof. Services)

Fixed an issue where LotSpec would not accept decimal values in transformation fields (X, Y, Z Position, Rotation Degrees). Users can now apply decimal values to transformations.

Tooltips in the Link Manager now update automatically based on the active tab, making it easier to access relevant information while navigating between Revit and CAD links.

A validation check has been added to the Link Manager. If the Cloud Model Workspace Location is not set, users will now see a clear prompt before using options like “Local Pick New Folder” or “Cloud Find Replace,” preventing crashes.

Added safeguards to improve compatibility across .NET Framework and .NET Core environments.

Security: Addressed several minor security vulnerabilities for LotSpec for Revit.

LotSpec for Revit version 2026.0.2

Released: 9/19/2025

Enhancements

Improved how hidden dimensions are generated when using the Auto Dimension tool. An alternate character is now used to prevent unwanted black boxes from appearing in PDF outputs, ensuring cleaner, more professional documents for sharing and printing.

Enhanced the solve process to improve deleting unnecessary elements. This update prevents issues related to duplicate element IDs and improves reliability by processing items individually if batch deletion fails. Users will experience more consistent performance and fewer errors during complex solve operations.

LotSpec for Revit version 2026.0.1

Released: 9/12/2025

Fixes

Fixed an unexpected crash that occurred when solving a cloud model using the “Solve Project” type. The conflicting code has been isolated to prevent execution in .NET Framework, resolving the crash and ensuring stable behavior across both platforms.

New

Multifamily Solve Workflow

The new Multifamily Solve feature streamlines the process of solving and assembling multi-unit residential buildings. This functionality enables greater control, efficiency, and automation when working with townhomes or other multi-family structures.

With Multifamily Solve, you can:

  • Define the number of units to solve in a single session, with individual solve settings for each unit
  • Choose between solving units from scratch or using pre-solved project files
  • Add the Multifamily Family to master projects and configure front-to-back and vertical offsets to control unit layout within the final assembly
  • Automate linked assembly creation using a predefined template file
  • Navigate using a modern, tab-based user interface designed for multifamily workflows
  • Perform batch solves across multiple lots that do not require automatic assembly
